Deo Makro Limited in collaboration with its partners have been working together to supply, install, commission, train, maintain and provide airport support services.

We have successfully supplied, installed, and commissioned various airport facilities for the underlisted in Nigeria:

1. Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA)

• FIR Total VHF Coverage of Nigeria: this was a nationwide RCAG VHF Coverage Project. The project covers ten (10) airports in the country with a VSAT station in Wukari, Taraba State. The airports are; Lagos, Port Harcourt, Ilorin, Abuja, Jos, Kano and Sokoto. Communication in these areas was restored throughout the National Airspace, thus eliminating black spots in Communication.
• Procurement and Installation of Terrestrial Communication Facilities for Abuja and Lagos Airports: this project was for the supply, installation and commissioning of:
• Air –to-ground VHF System for Control Tower Approach
• HF Data Radio (AFTN) Systems with PC’s
• Air Traffic Control (ATC) Voice recorders

 

• 1000 lines PABX IP Compatible
• 12Km long Optic Fibre Core (end-to-end)
• 1000 Nos TCP/IP Compatible telephone Handsets
• Supply of Five (5) Nos of 50Watts VHF air-band radios
• Supply of Thirty (30) Nos of 50Watts VHF T6TR Transceiver.
• We maintain Radar System for NAMA

 

2. Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN)

We Supplied, Installed and Commissioned the following Systems;

• Locator Beacon, Non- Directional Beacon, ATC Console and Monitor/Alarm receivers.
• Dual long range Air-to-ground VHF Communication Equipment (PAE 2750 VHF transmitter, PAE 2150 VHF Receiver and PAE 5550 base station radio).
• 50W VHF radios (series B5350, B5100, B2080, T6).
• Hand held Transceiver of series 7350
• VHF Discone and Wide band multiple Dipole Antenna.
• Calkit Portable Airfield lighting

3. Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)

We supplied and installed;

• 30-Channel Microwave link for the Nigerian Ports Authority, Port Harcourt to link NITEL Exchange to NPA office.
• Surge Generator (T18/15) to Warri, Calabar, Port Harcourt, and Onne Ports.
• Unisat System (SPC32 & KAB 31-B) Pulse reflection instrument.
• Lighting Arrestor to Lagos Headquarters, Warri, Calabar, Onne, Abuja Liaison office and Port Harcourt Ports.
• 25KVA Generators to Warri and Calabar port for NPA Telecommunication Department.
• Tetra FL 9000 Diesel powered transportable flood lighting Systems to Warri, Onne and Port Harcourt ports.

4. Bauchi State Government

• Supply, installation and commissioning of Garex 220 Voice Communication Control System (VCCS) Compact3 for Bauchi State International Airport.
• Installation and Commissioning of ground-to-air communication facilities (Park Air Systems Radios and Antenna System).
• Supply, installation and commissioning of PABX IP compatible telephone system, Optic Fibre installation and ATC Voice recording System for Bauchi State International Airport.

5. Rivers State Government

• Supply and Installation of Doppler VHF Omni-Directional Radio Range (DVOR) for Port Harcourt City Airport.
• Supply and Installation of Calkit Civil Airfield Lighting Kit for Port Harcourt City Airport.

6. Gombe State

• Supply and Installation of Airfield Lighting for Gombe State Airport.

7. Imo State

• Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Locator Beacon at Imo Airport.
• Supply and Installation of Air Traffic Console Desk (ATC)

Other projects undertaken are as follows;

1. Supply and Installation of Non- Directional Beacon (NDB) equipment to Jalingo Airstrip for Ministry of Aviation.
2. Supply of DVOR to NAF Base in Port Harcourt.

• Contract for the supply, training and maintenance of Photometric Equipment for measuring the Luminosity of Airfield Lighting for Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
